Close management
Every close task in one place.
Each task has a preparer and a due day, and a reviewer where you want a second pair of eyes. Routine checks can go to Eagl Agent.
The close checklist in Eagl for Pied Piper, on day 2 of the October 2026 close, grouped by category. 8 of 31 tasks are completed. Most tasks are prepared by people on the team: Tom, Lina and Sofie, with Sofie and Daan reviewing. A few routine checks are prepared by Eagl Agent. At 05:00 Eagl Agent checks whether suspense account 499000 is empty. It finds the account empty in all 5 entities: the two bank receipts posted to it in October were cleared against invoice INV-2026-0418 and IC-2026-0909. It attaches a CSV of the month's movements, sets the task to ready for review and tells Sofie Maes, the reviewer. Eagl Agent then starts the check that intercompany balances agree between entities.
When Eagl Agent prepares a task.
Give a routine check to Eagl Agent. This is what happens on the task's due day.
- 01It runs on the due dayEach morning, Eagl Agent starts the tasks due that day. You can also run one yourself.
- 02It leaves its work on the taskA result, the files it used and its full session. When it gets stuck, it sets the task to blocked and says why.
- 03Your reviewer completes itThe reviewer checks the work and sets the status to completed. Every change is on the record.
You decide who prepares each task.
Give each task to someone on your team or to Eagl Agent. Eagl Agent can prepare any task with a clear description and an entity. It reads your ledger, bank and documents. Booking entries is coming soon.

Questions finance teams ask.
Which tasks can Eagl Agent prepare?
Any task with a clear description and an entity. It works best on checks: whether bank balances agree with the ledger, whether a suspense account is empty, whether payroll matches the payments. It reads your ledger, bank and documents.
Can some tasks stay manual?
Yes. You choose the preparer for each task, a person or Eagl Agent, and you can change it at any time.
Can Eagl Agent book entries?
Not yet, we're working on it. Today Eagl Agent reads your ledger, bank lines and documents. When something needs booking, it says what and why, and someone on your team books it.
How does it handle multiple entities?
One checklist covers the group. Each task belongs to one or more entities, so you can filter to a single entity or follow the whole close at once.
Is everything recorded for the audit?
Yes. Every status change, comment and attachment is kept with who made it and when, whether that was a person or Eagl Agent. Eagl Agent's full session stays on the task.
