Most finance teams still reconcile spreadsheets, exports and reports across systems that don’t talk to each other. The result is manual checks, late nights and less confidence in the numbers.
Eagl connects to the ERP, checks every posting, reconciles bank accounts and runs the close for in-house finance teams. We are early, backed by Syndicate One, CNBB and founders of European SaaS companies.
The role
You build the infrastructure and product experience behind Eagl. This is a 0 to 1 systems role across the whole stack: backend architecture and integrations, polished interfaces and AI agents.
You work directly with the founders on Eagl’s technical direction, design the core systems and ship the features customers rely on. Expect fault-tolerant data pipelines across complex ERP environments, scalable multi-tenant systems and AI-driven workflows.
What you’ll do
- Build clear, high-quality React interfaces that make complex financial data easy to understand and act on.
- Build the core data and backend systems behind Eagl, including integrations and high-performance ingestion pipelines.
- Develop AI agents with LLMs and planning frameworks to automate financial workflows.
- Ship features end to end with product and AI engineers, keeping them secure, scalable and reliable as we grow.
- Shape engineering standards, architecture and product direction from day one.
What you’ll bring
- Experience building and scaling backend systems in Node.js, TypeScript or similar languages.
- Experience building front ends with React.
- Experience with infrastructure (AWS, GCP), databases (Postgres, Valkey, ClickHouse) and modern CI/CD pipelines.
- A builder’s mindset: you like fast-moving environments and care about shipping quality work quickly.
- Excitement about working where AI, finance and infrastructure meet.
- Nice to have: UX and UI design best practices, and familiarity with AWS, Temporal, LangChain or financial and ERP integrations.
