Bank reconciliation

Your bank accounts, reconciled every day.

Eagl matches every bank line to your ledger, in every entity and currency. You review what is left, each item with a proposed entry.

Every bank, every currency.

Connect a bank feed once, or keep your statements in your drive. Eagl brings in every new line by itself. Each entity keeps its own accounts, and every currency is matched as booked in your ledger.

How Eagl reconciles an account.

You connect your banks once. Eagl matches every day, so by month end only the judgement calls are left for you.

Including the matches that are not one to one.

No rules to write. Eagl reads amounts, references, counterparties and dates together, and says in one sentence why two lines belong together.

Ready for the auditor.

Every match keeps how it was made, and nothing is booked until a person books it.

How it matched

Who accepted it
Every match and every booking records who accepted it, with a note for manual matches.
Sign-off
Sign-off is per account and per period, and records who signed and when.
Export
The full trail per account and period, ready for the audit file.

Questions finance teams ask.

Does Eagl book anything without me?

No. Matches are cleared on their own, because a match changes nothing in your books. Anything that needs an entry waits for a person to book it or write it off.

How does Eagl get my bank lines?

Through a bank feed: Isabel for Belgian banks, Plaid, Atlar or Mollie. Or from statements Eagl picks up in Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint or the NetSuite File Cabinet, in CODA, CAMT, MT940, PDF or Excel. Bank lines sync every hour.

Which ERPs does it work with?

NetSuite, Exact Online and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

How does it handle other currencies?

Each bank account is reconciled in its own currency. Eagl matches every bank line on its amount in that currency, as booked in your ledger, so the rate is always the one on your books.

Does it work across entities and intercompany?

Each entity is reconciled on its own books, and one view shows the accounts of every entity together. Intercompany matching is coming soon.

What about other balance sheet accounts?

Eagl tracks them next to your bank accounts, comparing the ledger with a balance you enter for each period. Line by line matching is for bank accounts.

Will it hold up in an audit?

Yes. Every match keeps the reason Eagl gave and who accepted it, and every sign-off records who signed and when. The full trail per account and period can be exported for the audit file.
